Blood Bank of the Redwoods is grateful to the caring people in our community. Volunteer blood donors have always been the lifeline directly connected to saving lives. Many people do not know, however, that they can make tax-deductible financial contributions, which are equally important.

As a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, we rely on the generous financial support of individuals, corporations, and foundations. These contributions enable us to continue to provide high-quality blood products to our communities everyday. All contributions are unrestricted and may be used for equipment, technology, endowment, debt repayment, building purchase or other needs.

The need for blood has grown tremendously in recent years as the population in Sonoma, Lake and Mendocino counties has grown. It is critical that Blood Bank of the Redwoods keeps up with the demand of the expanding community.
